Frequently Asked Questions
Q1. Why don't I have more pictures of the Pope? A. See my pictures of John Paul II's 25th Anniversary, and My last Papal Audience. Usually it's not easy to carry a camera when distributing communion... So see "The Most Beautiful Photos of the Pope"or the Vatican Photo Site
Q2. Why are the pictures different sizes? A. I have tried to reduce the size of pictures. Therefore I cut out unnecessary parts to reduce their size, and will often shrink pictures that are not very good, fuzzy or less important.
Q3. Why are some pictures not focused well? A. Almost all pictures are taken without flash, especially inside of churches, museums or at night. This is quite challenging without a tripod to hold the camera perfectly still while the lens stays opens - thus the reasons why some pictures are fuzzy. Also some are a reduced size.
Q4. What kind of camera do you use? A very simple (and by now quite old and well traveled) HP Photosmart 612 2.3 Megapixel with an added 128 MB CompactFlash memory.
Q.5 Have you ever tried to take pictures of fireworks?
