Want to make a Pilgrimage to the Holy Land and Jordan?

Fr. Gary Coulter (Director of Our Lady of Good Counsel Retreat House, Waverly) and Fr. Matthew Eickhoff (Pastor of St. Joseph, Benkelman) will lead a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and Jordan Nov. 6-17, 2023 - Departing Omaha, NE.

We are now registering those who are interested in coming on this 12-day tour in the footsteps of Jesus. Call Fr. Coulter at 402-786-2705 or Fr. Eickhoff at 308-423-2329.

In particular, we have decided to add Jordan as part of the itinerary, as the Baptism Site of Jesus at "Bethany Beyond the Jordan" Al-Maghtas is now open, to see Mount Nebo where Moses died, and once you're already in Jordan there are many other sites to visit, including Petra, one of the seven new wonders of the world!

The logistics of transportation and lodging are all being arranged with Tekton Ministries in association with the Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land, the custodians of the Holy Places. Therefore we will have a knowledgeable Franciscan guide with access to all the holy sites, and know we are supporting Christians in the Holy Land at the same time.

Tekton Ministries requires a deposit of $300.00 per person at the time of booking. This deposit forms a part of your final payment which is due 75 days prior to departure. For cancellations: If canceled 91 days or more prior to departure, a $75.00 administrative fee will be charged.

"Here Christ died and rose, never to die again. Here the history of humanity was decisively changed... The long reign of sin and death was shattered by the triumph of obedience and life; the wood of the cross lay bare the truth about good and evil; God's judgment was passed on this world and the grace of the Holy Spirit was poured out upon humanity." - Pope Benedict XVI, at the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, May 15, 2009

A passport which is valid for 6 months past the date of your return flight home is required. Apply for or Renew a Passport at least three months in advance if needed.

Below are a few of my Holy Land Pictures 2007, Holy Land Pictures 2010 and Holy Land Pictures 2015 of some of the places we will visit.
