I found your site while searching for St. Berndatte's home parish. I studied for a semester in Italy last spring, and I got to visit some of the places you have featured here. Some of my pictures from these places didn't turn out, but seeing yours, all my memories of them comes back. Beautiful pictures. Thanks!

I spent 4 years in Rome studying theology at the Angelicum and the Greg. The one most unique memory was my latin afternoons with Fr. Foster. I lived at San Carlino and every afternoon when all the Spainards I lived with were taking the siesta..I was learning Latin. I spent more time on his sheets than I did on my theology I think. I was ordained a deacon and Fr. Foster showed up. To this day I can say Loquor linguam latinam... Deponent verb...thank you Fr. Foster

I studied Latin with Fr Foster - First Experience - back when I wasa doing my STB at the Greg. I am so pleased to see your website and it brought back many fond memories of Monday evenings spent in the aula with Fr Foster and the hours of homework after that. Thank you!
