For Catholic Men

Some Resources and groups to help Catholic Men grow in their faith

Return to Fr. Coulter's Homepage Email Me Suggestions

Someone asked me "Are there any Men's Faith Groups Available?" Realizing that things are fairly sparse if you don't join Promise Keepers (and I don't recommend you do), I started putting together this page. -- Basically one has to find a few other men and found a group / chapter oneself, based upon a couple of models which are out there - most seem to have a similar format.

Fathers for Good
An initiative for men by the Knights of Columbus has some of the best articles, resources, books, etc.

Exodus 90

Exodus 90 has premiered as the most talked about (and intense) men's program: find a few other men and form a fellowship group to grow in virtue for 90 days (and beyond) the three pillars or prayer, ascetecism and fraternity. Truly a spiritual exercise - and its an app.

That Man is You! (TMIY)

That Man is You! is a parish based Catholic men’s ministry forming men in the principles of authentic, male leadership. Currently TMIY offers up to 7 years of content, helping men journey along the 7 Steps to Superabunance.

Into the Breach

  1. Bishop Thomas Olmsted of Phoenix, Arizona, is inspiring Catholic men to rediscover "Who they are, our Identity in Christ?," and "What they are called to do/to be, our Mission from Christ?" (2 min. Trailer Video). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Sv4NP_aJaA
  2. Bishop Thomas Olmsted of Phoenix, Arizona, is calling men to step it up in leading their families in the Faith, entitled, "Into the Breach". True Men = Men of Virtue (work of self-mastery). A Call to Battle for what is still good & decent in our world. Awesome & inspiring. (10 min. Video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mDzNm7cylw
  3. For the full Apostolic Letter to Men: "Into the Breach" read http://www.intothebreach.net/into-the-breach/
  4. A free Compendium Workbook to Bishop Olmsted's 'Into the Breach' Apostolic Exhortation to Men called "Forward! - Into the Breach" is suitable for both personal and group use, and contains the complete Apostolic Exhortation, and presents corresponding questions and testimony ideal for discussion, meditation, and prayer: ForwardIntoTheBreach.com
  5. Knights of Columbus Video Series inspired by "“Into the Breach", each episode features a man’s personal story and major Catholic figures.
